FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT HVAC MAINTENANCE SERVICES

  • Question 4

  • Question 5

  • Question 6

How often should my HVAC unit be maintenanced?

At least once a year! Bi-annual maintenance is best though, once in the spring before the HOT summer months and once in the fall before the cooler winter months.

Are maintenance plans worth the investment?

Yes! Signing up for an annual maintenance plan gets you discounts on repairs, maintenance calls, and priority booking! It also helps to have the same team working on your HVAC unit rather than having various companies performing different repairs. We keep a log of every repair we do on your HVAC unit!

What is the difference between maintenance and repair services?

Maintenance is preventative where repairs are necessary for your unit to function properly. Maintenance can also catch repairs before they become major issues.

How long do standard repairs take?

Standard repairs usually take between 1-4 hours. This is all dependent on the size of the unit, the damage to the unit, where the issue resides within the HVAC system, etc. Once we assess the issue, our technicians can give a more precise timeline for the actual repair.

Will the same technician perform all of my maintenance and repair services every time I call?

You can absolutely request the same technician! We encourage our technicians to create lasting working relationships with all of our customers.

What’s the best level of humidity inside of my house?

This is a great question. We think that the optimum level inside of your home is close to 35% relative humidity, but it’s perfectly reasonable that the humidity level is anywhere between 30% and 40%. We advise not to go above 40% because anything above can create condensation on your windows and it’s a perfect breeding ground for mold. Mold can lead to allergies and respiratory issues.
